Get Past Battleground Fences Before It Starts (World of warcraft)

A little fun with model editing.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

* 1. Launch MyWacraftStudio.

* 2. Open Patch.mpq.

* 3. Navigate to world/wmo/PVP/fence.

* 4. Extract these to your desktop.
The correct directory structure should be like this: world/wmo/PVP/fence . If you have to, you can create it yourself.

* 5. Open wmo.mpq . Find a small .wmo file and extract it to the same folder as above. Once you have extracted it, you need to rename it as follows:

Alliance fence - ArathiAllianceFence.wmo

Horde fence - ArathiHordeFence.wmo

The files with 000 in them, delete!

* 7. You should now have something like this: world/wmo/PVP/fence and 2 files in that directory. Now, just move the whole World directory to your World of Warcraft/data folder.

* 8. Log on and enjoy.

Find A Niche…fill It (Warcraft)

As with most of my strategies, I look for "off the beaten path" type of money makers. This one is no diffrent.

We will call this one…

"Please feed the twinks."

Twinking is very popular right now with the hot spots being the 10-19 WSG and 20-29 WSG. This guide will focus on the 10-19 WSG twink crowd. Farming blues can be not only difficult because most useful ones are world drops but plain boring as hell. This guide will show you how to make it as painless as possible.

The Strat

By far the highest concentration of kick ass twink gear is found in Shadowfang Keep. Both caster and melee items that are BoE and in the 16-19 range can be found here off any of the trash mobs inside. The holy grail of twink weapons is the assassin's blade.
http://thottbot.com/?i=12802
Rogues wet themselves for one of these and will pay upwards of 150g for one. It's the single best dagger for that level and if you drop say firey (for the budget twinks) or crusader (the fat wallets) on it and you are a machine on par with the 20-29 crowd. That's why its so popular. Sadly, I GAVE this to a guildie before I became aware of it's value. I just figured it was a decent blue dagger and since I was a 60 rogue, didn't have any use for it.

Not a dagger rogue??? How about this 1 hand sword…
http://thottbot.com/?i=11366
Again, sword rogue heaven. This in your main with assassin's in your off…WOW!

But Cowboy, I'm not a rogue… /cry Fear not.
Here's is the warrior's version of the assassin's blade.
http://thottbot.com/?i=12599

I personally sold one of these for 60g. Gave the other to my warrior. Again, drop a crazy 300 level enchant on it ON TOP of the nice proc and you've got a death stick to be proud of.
Slightly lower in the food chain but still a nice proc is this.
http://thottbot.com/?i=11109
Another nice 2 hander for a warrior or a pally.

If for some reason you want to carry a shield (I dunno why) and need a heavy hitting 1 hander try this (also great for hunters).
http://thottbot.com/?i=11691
This is aonther one I've personally sold. I set the buyout at 35g and it went in less then 2 hours. Probably could have gotten more but oh well. Looks cool as hell too.

Casters kinda get the hose in SFK but there are a few nice BoEs for you guys too.

This is mainly for the stats and a lock would enjoy this much me thinks…
http://thottbot.com/?i=9069

Not exactly what you want in WSG but the intel is very high for the level.
http://thottbot.com/?i=11136
Yeah, that says NEGATIVE 5 stamina

That's ALOT of specific level blues in 1 place and all are BoE. The drop rates are low just like any blue item but the mob density and relative small size of the instance makes it much nicer then grinding world mobs hoping for a specific item. Also, if youre an enchanter, all the boss blues DE into large glowing shards which sell for about 1g. I average about 3-5 blues (BoP) per run and anywhere from 6-15 green drops that I can sell on the AH from 50s to 1g50s depending on the item. That means I'm making about 8-16g for around 30-45 minutes work. If a twink item drops then it's a whole diffrent story.

Good luck and happy twinking!

Quick halaa battle tokens (World of warcraft)

If you want to get a Dark War Talbuk easily then you will need

1. An alliance character (yours or a friends) and an alliance priest
2. a horde character (yours or a friends) and a horde priest

the 2 non priests get naked and hangout under one of the halaa bridges and flag. then just start killing eachother and have the priest on your side raise you with their rank 1 raise (so you have very little health)
if everybody involved plays nice and takes turns you can very easily rack up some serious tokens rather quickly
classes that excell at this: warlock (lifetap make you die even quicker so that the turns take less time)
Hunter (after you res summon you pet and have it one shot the other guy)

NOTE: I beleive you could be baned if you are cought doing this (that is why you do it under the bridge fewer people will see you)

sorry if this has already been posted

New item drop to make 300-400 gold per hour! (World of warcraft)

If you are a skinner you make even more gold.

In winterspring where the elite dragons are you can make alot of gold
They have a pretty high drop rate of Mature Blue Dragon Sinew that sells for 300-400g depending on your server but on my server they sell for 300-400g. They also drop lots of grey that you can vendor for some g, And plenty greens to. If you don't already have 16 slots bags you will get yours there to
I've got pretty much of Traveler's Backpack. That sell for 18-25g at AH depending on your server as always

If you are a skinner you get alot of rugged leather and blue dragonscales.
And they also drop silver from 14-20s, They are easy to kill solo also, I'm a shaman with decent gear killing them with no problems.

My exact amount of gold right now is 3453g

I hope this will help all those poor guys out there.

the droprate % of MBDS check below

Fishing +Cooking 1-300 (World of warcraft)

it will take you a minimum of 11 hours to complete this, but more likely about 14-15.

So let's start:

Go to your fishing trainer and cook and pick up Fishing and Cooking skills.
Buy a fishing rod and a stack of shiny baubles (a lure that adds +25 to your fishing skill).
Your now ready to begin.

Horde

Best place to start is in Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore.
Go speak to Harn Longcast and buy Brilliant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snapper recipes off of him. Now start fishing in Stonebull Lake.
Equip your rod and then apply the shiny bauble lure to it, as this will make catching fish easier. You'll want to catch about 60 Brilliant Smallfish and this should take about 40 minutes. You'll find that by the time you have caught 60 Brilliant Smallfish, you'll also have about 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers. Once you have 60, cook them. You can either build your own fire or jog back to Harn Longcast and use the fire in front of him. Cook the Brilliant Smallfish, then at level 50 start cooking Longjaw Mud Snappers (after learning the recipe you bought earlier).
You'll need to go and catch Longjaw Mud Snappers now and the best place for these is the pond in Orgrimmar by Lumark the Fishing trainer (I know you've been catching quite a few where you are, but the 'drop rate' is a lot better in Orgrimmar).
Between levels 50 and 75 go learn journeyman fishing and cooking.
You'll now need to catch about 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers to get your cooking up to 100.
Now go to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad and buy Bristle Whisker Catfish recipe off of Derak Nightfall.
Go to the river to the East of Tarren Mill and fish for Bristle Whisker Catfish. Depending on your cooking level, your going to need about 80-100 of these to get it up to 175.
Between levels 125 and 150 go learn expert cooking from trainer. You'll need to go to Booty Bay and buy a book for your Fishing level. Speak to Old Man Heming and buy the book Expert Fishing: The Bass and You.
Once your up to 175 cooking, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace. Speak to Wulan and buy Mithril Head Trout recipe and start fishing on the pier there. Your going to need about 60 of these to get your cooking up to level 225.

At this point you should now have level 225 fishing and level 225 cooking. If your not level 35 yet, then this is as far as you can go. If you are level 35+ then you have two quests to complete before you can continue.

First quest: Cooking
Requirements: Level 35, 225 Cooking.

Go to Gadgetzan in Tanaris and speak to Dirge Quikcleave. He is in the tavern. He'll want you to bring him 12 Giant Eggs, 10 Zesty Clam Meat and 20 Alterac Swiss. You should actually be able to buy the eggs and clam meat off of AH, but in case you can't here's where to find them. Now according to the quest Giant Eggs drop off of Rocs in Tanaris or any large bird. The best place I found for the eggs, was the owlbeast in The Hinterlands. Only needed to kill about 20 of these to get my 12 eggs. They are about level 43 ish, so if your not that high a level, get help or wait till you can handle them. The clam meat comes from clams, naturally! Well to save you swimming around the sea looking for clams, your better off killing turtles at Steamwheedle Port or Raventusk Village. The drop rate is quite high and you'll have your clam meat in no time. The levels are 41 ish for Steamwheedle Port and 49-50 for Raventusk Village. The Alterac Swiss is the easiest part. Go to Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands and buy them off of the Inn Keeper. Hand them all in and you'll get your Artisan Cooking.

Second Quest: Fishing
Requirements: Level 35, 225 Fishing.

You need to go and find Nat Pagle in Dustwallow Marsh. He is standing on a small island to the West of Theramore (58,60). He'll ask you to catch four rare fishes for him. This quest is actually really easy and the only hard part is the amount of travelling involved. The fish you need to catch are:

Feralas Ahi - If you ride out West from Camp Mojache and fish the Verdantis River where the small bridge is by the Ogres, you'll soon catch one.

Sar'theris Striker - Ride a little South out of Shadowprey Village and your there. Make sure the area comes up as Sar'theris Strand.

Savage Coast Blue Saffin - Just outside Grom'gol Base Camp. Make sure the area comes up as Savage Coast.

Misty Reed Mahi Mahi - Directly East from Stonnard. Just avoid the Murlocs.

You should catch these fish within 5 to 10 casts at each location. So it wont take long. The best order I've found to do this quest in is; (assuming you don't already have all the flightpaths) From Dustwallow, ride to the Great Lift and then head West through Thousand Needles to Camp Mojache in Feralas - From Feralas, ride North West into Desolace and onto Shadowprey Village - From Desolace, fly to Thunderbluff - Fly to XR - Fly to Orgrimmar - Get Zeppelin to Grom'Gol Base Camp - Ride North to Duskwood - Ride East to Deadwind Pass - Ride through Deadwind Pass to Swamp of Sorrows.
Now go back to Nat and get your Artisan Fishing.

Ok, so your now at level 225 in both cooking and fishing and you've done your Artisan quests. Time for the home stretch.

Go to Steamwheedle port and speak to Gikkix, You'll want to buy the following two recipes: Spotted Yellowtail and Poached Sunscale Salmon.
Now go to Raventusk Village in the Hinterlands and fish for Spotted Yellowtails. You'll need about 30 to get your cooking from 225 to 250.
Now go to Bloodvenom Falls in Felwood and fish for Sunscale Salmon. You'll need about 30 to get your cooking from 250 to 275.
Now go to Camp Mojache in Feralas and speak to Sheendra Tallgrass and buy the recipe for Mightfish Steak. Whilst your there buy about 40 Hot Spices and 40 Soothing Spices as your going to be making the food that you will want as a level 60 (without going into instances that is). It gives a +10 stamina buff for 15mins which is always helpful.
Now go to Scalebeard's Cave in Azshara (its one of the islands to the East) and fish for Mightfish. You'll need about 30 to get your cooking from 275 to 300. You may need to bring some lures with you at this point, as your cooking will level up faster than your fishing and Azshara is a 250+ fishing zone. Once your cooking is a 300, keep fishing till you've maxed out that too. It will take 7 to 10 catches to get one skill up at this point, so take your time.

Alliance

Best place to start is in Elwynn Forest.
Go speak to Nyoma by Crystal Lake and buy the recipes for Brilliant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snappers. Now start fishing in Crystal Lake.
You'll want to catch about 60 Brilliant Smallfish to get your cooking from 1 to 50.
Now go to Stormwind City and fish the canals for Longjaw Mud Snappers. You'll need about 50 of them to raise your cooking to 100.
Between levels 50 and 75 go learn journeyman fishing and cooking.
Now go to Southshore and speak to Donald Rabonne and buy the recipes for Bristle Whisker Catfish and Mithril Head Trout.
Go to the river to the east of Southshore and fish for Bristle Whisker Catfish. You'll need about 80-100 of these to get your cooking to level 175.
Between levels 125 and 150 go learn expert cooking from trainer. You'll need to go to Booty Bay and buy a book for your Fishing level. Speak to Old Man Heming and buy the book Expert Fishing: The Bass and You.
Now go to the Lakes outside Stromgarde Keep in Arathi Highlands and fish for Mithril Head Trout. Your going to need about 60 of these to get your cooking up to level 225.

At this point you should now have level 225 fishing and level 225 cooking. If your not level 35 yet, then this is as far as you can go. If you are level 35+ then you have two quests to complete before you can continue.

Go to the Inn in Goldshire, Elwynn Forest and buy them off of the Bartender. Hand them all in and you'll get your Artisan Cooking.

Second Quest: Fishing
Requirements: Level 35, 225 Fishing.

You should catch these fish within 5 to 10 casts at each location. So it wont take long. I haven't done this quest on my Alliance character, so I'm not sure of the best order in which to do them.
Now go back to Nat and get your Artisan Fishing.

Go to Steamwheedle port and speak to Gikkix, You'll want to buy the following two recipes: Spotted Yellowtail and Poached Sunscale Salmon.
Either fish for Spotted Yellowtails at Steamwheedle Port or go to Raventusk Village (well not to it, just a little North of it) for the slightly better drop rate. You'll need about 30 to get your cooking from 225 to 250.
Now go to Bloodvenom Falls in Felwood and fish for Sunscale Salmon. You'll need about 30 to get your cooking from 250 to 275.
No go and speak to Vivianna in The Feathermoon Stronghold and buy the recipe for Mightfish Steak. Whilst your there buy about 40 Hot Spices and 40 Soothing Spices as your going to be making the food that you will want as a level 60 (without going into instances that is). It gives a +10 stamina buff for 15mins which is always helpful.

The hunter Epic Quest Hunt for Rhokdelar (World of warcraft)

The Hunter Epic Quest - The Hunt for Rhokdelar

About this guide.
Having not been able to find any guides online for
Hunters that were decently decked out, we decided to write this guide
up. If you follow the guide the demon fights should go as smoothly as
possible, minimizing your costs (buying pots and buffs for fights and
then failing gets expensive) and maximizing you and your parties
time.

How to read this guide.
Before each demon there will be 5 lists pertaining to the fight.

1. Party List: The party list is a party that you MUST HAVE*
before attempting the fight. I will list each players part of each
fight. Trying the fight without a certain buff from a party member
can cost you the fight, waste time and money.

2. Consumable List: These are consumables that you MUST HAVE* before the
fight. We will explain why each of them is necessary. Usually we'll
list more items than you will use during the fight, but the key is to
have them in case you need them. Why loose a demon fight, waste a few
buffer potions, and have to wait for respawn because you didn’t
bring extra pots with you?

3. Additional Items List:
These are items that you might consider if you are having problems
with the demon.

4. Talents and Skills:
These are the talents and skills required to beat this demon. We highly
recommend moving your skills that you will be using into key binding
you can hit easily. i.e. We always had the sting we were using for
the demon in the 4 quick key and we switched our wing clip to our
mouse thumb button. Whatever feels the most comfortable and easiest
for you.

5. Weapons and Armor:
Weapons and armor used for the fight.*Like we said before, we are writing this guide
as a way to keep you from dying and to make your fight with the
demons as easy as possible. So, we are going to suggest that you be
overly ready and pull out every stop on your first attempts
because that will lower your cost (less pots and repairs), time (if
you de-spawn the demon it takes 15 minutes to spawn again).

General rules for every demon fight.
1. No one can help you on any demon fight after you have engaged in combat. If the
demon or their pet, or helpers, target anyone besides you during the
fight they de-spawn for 15 mins. This includes your pet! You must
have your pet dismissed and have all buffs on before engaging combat.
As a general rule you do not want to use any aura buffs. If you go in
of or out of an aura it will count is as a buff during combat and
de-spawn the demon.
2. Every demon has a weakness. All you have to do is focus on that weakness to beat them. Do not make
the fight more complicated than necessary. You will be using your
hunter in ways you haven’t before. It’s alright. Trust us
;D
3. We recommend giving each demon a few tries with out using any of your
consumables to get the hang of the fight. Once again this is to save
you money. You can attempt the demon with just buffs and reset the
demon with feign death. Once you feel comfortable with the demon use
your potions and other consumables. We usually suggest two tries
without buffs to get the hang of it.
4. Warlocks are very important because they give you healthstones. These are on
different timers from potions and can save your life while waiting to
use a potion again.
5.If the fight inst going well feign death and start again. Its always better to have a solid fight
the entire time than to start shaky and have a chance of finishing.
6. Warn your party to not go near the demon. They like
to hit people not on the quest very very hard : -) well they like to
hit people on the quest hard as well….

Burning Steppes, Klinfran

Party List:
Priest - Power Word Fortitude, Spirit, and Shield before the pull.
Pally - Blessing of Might
Druid - Mark of the Wild, and Thorns before the pull
Warlock - Healthsones, Healthsones, Healthsones!

Consumable List:Elixir of the Mongoose
Elixir of Demon Slaying
Major Health Potions
Major Mana Potions
Major Rejuvenation Potions
Major Healthstone
Greater Healthstone(You probably won't use all of these - but have them in case you need
them!)

Additional Items:
Any kind of food that will boost stamina or agility.

Talents and Skill:
Scorpid Sting rank 4, Wingclip rank 1, Aspect of the Monkey.

Weapons and Armor
2H sword demonslayer
*any gear that increases meele attack. Our MMOEdge player used black
Dragonscale.

About the Demon:
Enrages every 15 seconds extremely increasing his DPS, to upwards 2000 damage per hit.
Upon enraging he wipes all effects on him. (i.e. scorpid sting and
wing clip)

Strategy:
This fight is one long repetition of 3 basic moves. (sigh)Get at maximum distance from
the demon. Hunter mark him, drop an ice trap and get your mana back.
Pull him with an aimed shot. Concussive shot him to get in as much
ranged damage before he hits your ice trap. When he hits the trap
back up and aimed shot him again. This will be the last time you use
ranged damage against him. When you hit him with your aimed shot
immediately use your scorpid sting. Run at him and meele. Do not
try to squeeze in more shots first, do not try to kite him,
run at him and start swinging! This is crucial because you are
developing a rhythm that you will follow for the rest of the fight.
Here is the pattern.Scorpid Sting. Run and meele 3 times*,
after your third swing wing clip him and start strafing away at full
speed. Keep running until he enrages. Do not try to do any ranged
damage while running. Do not use your scorpid sting before he
enrages. Once he enrages and removes all of your effects scorpid
sting him again and repeat the process. Eliminating attempts
for ranged damage keeps you from messing up and missing your sting.
It Keeps you in a rhythm where you should always be at a safe
distance when he enrages so you do not get hit by him. You do not
have to watch the clock. Just swing 3 times, wing clip, run away,
sting. Swing 3 times, wing clip, run away, sting….
Consumables:How you use these depends on how much
health / mana you have during the fight. If you only need health use
a warlocks stone first because you can just get a new one and it
saves $ potions $. To save mana during the fight use wingclip rank
1.*the amount of swings is based on the stats of the 2H
sword demon slayer. If you are using a different weapon you will have
to find the amount of swings you can get in before having to wingclip
and run for your dear life.

We found this area the best to fight in. There are no mobs to kill
and no Drakes to watch out for. The only thing to concern yourself
with is people moving along the road. But most players respect the
quest. Just try to start the demon away from the road so he doesn't
kill people that happen to ride by.

UnGoro Crater, Simone
Party List:
Priest - Power Word Fortitude, Spirit, and Shield before the pull.
Pally - Blessing of Might
Druid - Mark of the Wild, and Thorns before the pull
Warlock - Healthsones, Healthsones, Healthsones!
Hunter - A second hunter to use Aspect of the wild (explained in
strategy)

Consumable List
Magic Dust (dropped from Dust Devils in Westfall. you will 2-3 per fight)
Greater Stoneshield potion
Elixir of the Mongoose
Elixir of Demon Slaying
Major Health Potions
Major Mana Potions
Major Rejuvenation Potions
Major Healthstone
Greater Healthstone(you will not use all of these in this fight. but have them in case you
need them!)

Additional Items List:
Any kind of food that will boost stamina or agility. If you are an engineer,
you can use the Goblin Rocket Helmet to take the Felhound pet out of
the fight for an extended duration
Talents and Skills:
Viper Sting, Scatter Shot, Aspect of the monkey.

Weapons and Armor:
2H sword demonslayer
Any agility gear that you have.

About the Demon:
Simone comes with a pet. The pet has the same rules
as the demon and can not be attacked by anyone other than yourself
until Simone is dead. She casts Temptress Kiss which reduces ranged
attack power by 1400 for 45 seconds and a slow casting lightning bolt
for about 800 damage.

Strategy:Before the fight
starts have your hunter friend come close to where you will be
fighting. They should turn on their aspect of the wild and then feign
death. If they are a night elf then they can shadowmeld which will
keep them from dieing. This is a close proximity fight so you shouldn
t ever go out of range of their aspect. Just make sure to keep the
fight near the AoW hunter. Also do not use your stoneshield potion
before the fight. You will use it during the battle. After you
get your buffs and your hunter is feigning or melded, Hunter mark
simone and lay a ice trap. Pull her with an aimed shot then
immediately hit her with a concussive shot. This lets her pet hit
your ice trap. Make sure to hit her with a viper sting. When she gets
to you start meeleing. As you fight her keep an eye on her pet. When
the ice trap breaks you will need to target the pet and use a magic
dust to put the pet to sleep.Simone will cast a very slow
lightening spell. You have two options. If you have scatter shot use
it and keep on attacking her. If you do not (I do not have scatter
shot) you will have to strafe out immediately when she starts casting
to get a sting in her before she can cast. If you run backwards you
will move to slowly and get hit. It must be a strafe. You will keep
this pattern up with Simone until she dies. It is a melee fight with
her. Pour on as much damage you can in the beginning while her pet is
in the ice trap and the first time you sleep the pet. When her
pet comes out of the first sleep you will still have a cool down on
your magic dust. This is when you use the Stoneshield potion. You
will be tanking both the pet and Simone until you can sleep the pet
again. *warning* you just used a potion. You should have your greater
healthstone to keep you alive. This is why they are so
important. When possible sleep the pet again and then continue
the fight with Simone. Once she dies your party can help you kill her
pet.We found this area the best to fight in: There are only 3
spawns in this area and no elite dinosaurs. The place you are looking
for is to the west of a giant tree along the south wall. On her path
she will walk right behind the tree east to west.

Silithus, Solenor
Party List:
Priest - Power Word Fortitude, Spirit, Shadow Protection, Fear Ward, Shield pre-pull
Pally - Blessing of Kings
Druid - Mark of the Wild, and Thorns before the pull
Warlock - Healthsones, and Curse of Recklessness

Consumable List:
Shadow Protection Potion
Elixir of the Mongoose
Elixir of demon slaying
Major Health Potions
Major Mana Potions
Major Rejuvenation Potions
Major Healthstone
Greater Healthstone(you will not use all of these in this fight. but have them in case you need them!)

Additional Items List:
any kind of food that will boost stamina or agility.

Talents and Skills:
Wing Clip Rank 3 (must be rank 3), Volley Rank 3, Aspect of the Hawk

Weapons and Armor:
We used Bone Slicing Hatchet x 2 for their agility
bonus.Put on all gear that gives you ranged attack.

About the Demon:
Solenor starts as a gnome named Nelson the Nice. He
has the ability to poot out homing beetles throughout the entire
fight. The beetles come at you and hurt a lot. He hits very hard and
fast.

Strategy:
Before you use your potions and
get your final buffs for the fight you have to remove his enraged
state. To do so place a freezing trap on the ground. Hit him and let
him hit your freezing trap. Feign death and let him go back to where
he came from. This will remove is enraged state and make him hit you
for less when you start the fight. When you guys are ready to
fight, get your priest to hit you with Shadow Protection and Fear
Ward. Solenor deals shadow damage, and you'll be hurting without the
Shadow Protection. Shadow protection pots also help with this.
Hunters mark him and then lay down a immolation trap. Now for an
interesting trick: Have your warlock duel you. As soon as the
duel starts have them cast Curse of Recklessness on you. This will
keep you from getting feared by him and will make the fight much
easier to manage. Both you and the warlock have to stay in the duel
area during the fight. They should re curse you during the battle
about every minute to keep you from getting feared.Battle
time. Pull him with an aimed shot and let him hit your immolation
trap. As soon as you can wing clip him and run away until you get
into ranged attack distance. Your wing clip will keep him stationary.
Now all you have to do keep on hitting him and strafing around him in
a circle to avoid the beetles. Make sure to keep ahead of them during
the fight. It more important to stay alive than to squeeze in a few
shots while getting hit by a beetle. In the beginning of the fight
use skills like rapid fire to get his health down quickly. It will be
easier then because you have less beetles to deal with. When your
wing clip breaks he will come at you. Just clip him again and run out
to do more ranged damage. When there are too many beetles
chasing you, strafe around him to get all of the beetles moving at
you in a group. When they are together volley the area that they are
and kill all of them. Allow the ones that are behind to run into your
volley. Eliminate as many as possible. This will allow you to get
back to killing Solenor.Consumables:Once again
health stones are a big player here. I also used a rejuvenation pot
as opposed to a health or mana pot because you go through a lot of
health and mana in this fight. We've found this area the best
to fight in. There are less monsters to kill here than anywhere else
on his path. Stand to the west of the stairs to AQ.

Winterspring, Artorius
Party List:
Priest - Power Word Fortitude, Spirit, Shadow Protection, Remove Magic, and Shield before the pull.
Druid - Mark of the Wild

Consumable List:
Major Health Potions

Additional Items List:
none

Talents and Skills:
Aspect of the Cheeta, Serpent Sting.

Weapons and Armor:
Agility based.

About the Demon:
Artorius starts out as a Tauren. He casts Demonic Doom which makes you look like a demon and
causes 350 shadow damage every 3 seconds for 1 minute. This will kill
you.

Strategy:This is a kiting fight. You should start him on the south western part of his route. This is the
closest area to the road. Have your party clear the area you will
need to kite through before you start the fight. When you are ready
have your party mount up so they can keep up with you as you kite.
Hunters mark him and lay an ice trap. Pulled with an aimed shot. When
he hits your ice trap back up and hit him with another aimed shot.
Now hit him with a serpent sting, turn around and start running. The
key to this fight is staying out of his demonic doom cast, but
keeping enough agro on him to keep him chasing you. If you see him go
out of range for your weapons let him catch up! But not too much or
you'll get doomed. The easiest way to do this is to keep jump
shooting him with serpent sting about every 4 seconds. (a jump shot
is where you jump while running, and while in the air you spin around
360 degrees. While facing backwards you shoot. You should land going
the same way you took off and not loose a lot of momentum). You can
also zoom in your mini map and keep a eye on his distance through
tracking, but we found this to be unreliable. It was easier for me to
develop a pattern.Once you start kiting him lead him to the
road (hardest part of the kite) and keep on kiting him down the path.
Make sure to have your priest mounted and running near you. If you
get hit with demonic doom feign death. Once you feign and Artorius
resets the priest can safely remove the magic from you. This will
keep you from dieing and save tons on your armor bill. But make sure
they know to wait until you have feigned and he has reset. If
you get him to 10% or less and then get hit with doom you can try to
kill him before you die.The demon is to the west of Le Rocher
Des Tigres Blancs. By kiting him down the road you do not have to
worry about other monsters. Just other players. The hardest part of
the kite is the corner from where you start the fight to get him on
the road. If you cut it to wide he gains a lot of distance.

Gathering Night Dragon's Breath
There are 4 Plants scattered around Felwood, each with a 25 minute cooldown before they can be farmed again. Each farm per plant will give you 4-7 Night Dragons. In my opinion, 2000-3500 mana restoration for free is something that cannot be missed. However, plants will Despawn from time to time, and if not cleansed, must be cleansed before

farming commences.
See: Cleansing Felwood http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=4102 , for information on obtaining your Cenarion Beacon - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.

html?witem=11511
This works in the similar fashion to the Argent Dawn commisions. Upon collecting the various hand in's, you can return them in exchange for plant salves. These will cleanse the

Night Dragons for you. The great thing about farming these hand in's is they fall from all mobs in felwood.
This is great if you are also farming Demonic Rune; http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12662
To make the farming of Night Dragon's even easier, I suggest you download Felwood Gatherer:
http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-2446-1-felwoodgather.htm
This displays your cooldowns, and alerts you at 5 minute and 1 minute Intervals when the plants will spawn. You must farm the plant to begin a succesful countdown.

Crafting Intermediate Mining Blacksmithing Cash (Warcraft)

MONEY FROM INTERMEDIATE MINING (AND BLACKSMITHING)

This is a guide for leveling in mining (and blacksmithing) in order to get to the point where you can make some serious gold in the game. Let me just start off by saying that there are many ways to make gold from the mining and/or blacksmithing profession and you can certainly use this as a starting point for developing other methods. However, this guide will focus on getting you to mining level 125 and blacksmithing level 75. This guide will assume that you keep up with the training from the respective trainer to obtain the abilities discussed below.

MINING BACKGROUND

Mining consist of finding metal veins, collecting ore, and then smelting that ore into bars. A miner gets the ability to smelt and/or mine various metals at various levels. You can smelt the following metals at the following levels:

Mining Level 1: Copper
Mining Level 65: Tin
Mining Level 65: Bronze (1 bronze bar = 1 copper bar + 1 tin bar)
Mining Level 75: Silver
Mining Level 125: Iron
Mining Level 155: Gold
Mining Level 165: Steel (1 steel bar = 1 iron bar + 1 coal)
Mining Level 175: Mithril

All of the above metals will produce one bar of the metal for one piece of ore when smelted. You can frequently get 4-5 pieces of ore from a single vein. There are other metals (truesilver and thorium) that can make you a TON of money, but I haven’t reached those levels yet so I will wait until I can develop a strategy for them before updating this guide.

Along with the metal, you also get various stones and gems from the veins, shown below:

- Copper veins: Rough Stones, Malachite, Shadowgem, Tigerseye
- Tin Veins: Coarse Stones, Jade, Lesser Moonstone, Moss Agate, Shadowgem
- Silver Vein: Lesser Moonstone, Moss Agate, Shadowgem
- Iron Veins: Heavy Stones, Aquamarine, Citrine, Jade, Lesser Moonstone
- Gold Veins: Jade, Lesser Moonstone
- Mithril Veins: Solid Stone

So, as you can see, you will be collecting a lot of “stuff” from mining. The only thing directly useable by you is the ore as a miner. Everything else is used by blacksmiths and some other professions in some cases. Therefore, I chose to also become a blacksmith. As you will see, there is definitely money making synergy, even if you don’t you’re your blacksmithing products to other players.

MINING STRATEGY

First, as you will see above, you will only be able to mine and smelt copper until level 65. Luckily, you will get mining xp from both mining AND smelting for most, if not all, of this time. Therefore, clear out as much space as you can in your inventory and go to a lower level area. Just hunt around the foot hills for copper veins and collect ore, stones and gems until your inventory is full. I would go to the easiest area you can find so you don’t have to worry about mobs that much. For instance, see here for a map of copper veins in Elwynn Forest, near Stormwind. http://www.thottbot.com/?m=1108

Everything stacks so you will have a lot of material when you are full. In my inventory, I typically have 40 open slots (with my backpack full of other stuff and four 10 slot bags open. Theoretically you can fill each slot of the 40 with ore, stones and gems. If you do this, when you are done, you will probably have something like 3 slots of gems, 17 slots of ore and 20 slots of rough stone. It all depends on the drop rate of stone, but this is probably about right as the stone drops 2-3 sometimes and the ore typically drops one at a time. Your mileage may vary. You should note that, when smelting you will need at least one slot open for the bars to go into – as you use up the ore, it will open up another slot.

Once you are done, go to your local forge and just smelt away to make copper bars. At this point, without blacksmithing, just sell the bars, stone, gems either at auction or at vendor and rinse and repeat. The bars only sell for 10 copper and the stone only sells for 2 copper each.

BETTER STRATEGY: SYNERGY WITH BLACKSMITHING

Here’s where you can begin to see the synergy that blacksmithing can add. First, unless you really need the money from selling the gems, I would suggest banking them – they sell for good money to a vendor, typically, but you will definitely need them for armor and weapons later. Ore and stones are easy to get, gems are not since the drop rate is somewhat low. I would also save a good amount of the rough stone since blacksmiths will be able to make rough grinding stones at level 25, which are necessary for some blacksmithing plans. However, this is up to you. At level 25, making rough grinding stones is an excellent way to level.

And here is a key point: as a blacksmith, you should only make things that don’t use a lot of resources and, at the same time, are the highest difficulty available (orange, yellow, green is the order of difficulty). If you run out of orange, yellow is OK, but you won’t level as quickly. Green is very inefficient. Eventually things will “grey” out and won’t give you xp. Note that you will always get one level for each thing you make that is orange in difficulty, regardless how many resources it requires. Therefore, for leveling it don’t use gems to make something when you could get the same level by just using copper.

Therefore, I suggest you use the copper bars as a blacksmith to make copper chain pants ( see http://www.thottbot.com/?i=272 ). You can make copper chain pants from level 1 and they only require 4 copper bars. So, now for the synergy: copper chain pants sell to vendors for 67 copper – so with a little more effort, you can make 67 copper instead of 40 copper from just selling the four bars (a 68% profit difference). Keep making these pants out of copper bars until you reach level 25. I don’t remember how many pants it takes to get to level 25, but assuming it is about 35 or so, that would be about 140 iron ore, or 7 stacks.

You will get other recipes but all of them require additional resources. The only thing I would consider is making copper boots at level 20. These require 8 copper bars and no other resources. However, you will lose profit by making them – 8 copper bars would sell for 80 copper to a vendor and the boots only sell for 49 copper. However, they will also give you more xp than the pants at level 20. This minimal loss is enough to get you to level 25, which is where you can make rough grinding stones. Rough grinding stones sell to a vendor for 5 copper, while the rough stones only sell for 2 copper (a 150% profit difference). They will also give you good xp for a while, so just make these until they turn yellow in difficulty.

Note that the above examples assume you will sell the items to a vendor. The pants and boots should definitely go to a vendor since it is not worth selling them at auction. However, the rough grinding stones are in demand because they are required as blacksmithing components. Therefore, you may find it desirable to sell them on auction depending on the market at your server. I don’t have the specifics, but they will almost certainly sell for a decent amount above the vendor. It all depends on how much time you want to take setting up the auctions. I simply sold some to a vendor and kept some for myself.

Now things become a little fuzzy because there are so many options. But here is what I would suggest you use to level:

- Blacksmithing Level 35: Copper Chain Belt – 6 copper bars
- Blacksmithing Level 40: Runed Copper Gauntlets – 8 copper bars, 2 rough grinding stones
- Blacksmithing Level 45: Runed Copper Pants – 8 copper bars, 2 fine thread (buy from tailor vendor), 2 rough grinding stones

Some of this might be inefficient in terms of gaining xp because the difficulty of the item drops eventually, but these are the lowest cost items in terms of resources. Feel free to vary on what you use to level, but try to keep your costs down as much as possible.

At mining level 65, you get the ability to mine tin, which also drops coarse stones. Once again save the gems and coarse stones. After this level of mining is reached, use the following to level in blacksmithing:

Blacksmithing Level 65: Coarse Sharpening Stone – 1 coarse stone
Blacksmithing Level 75: Coarse Grinding Stone – 2 coarse stones

END GOAL OF THIS GUIDE: MINING LEVEL 125, BLACKSMITHING LEVEL 75:

At level 75 in blacksmithing, you get the ability to make Coarse Grinding Stones. As far as mining goes, continue to mine whatever will give you xp (tin, silver, gold, etc). At level 125 in mining, you get the ability to mine/smelt iron. This is where you can make some serious money. Eventually copper and tin will grey out, as will smelting entirely. However, you will still get xp from mining silver, gold and, the goal of this guide in mining: Iron., which you will obtain at level 125 in mining.

And here, finally is where the cash really starts rolling in. Iron bars on my server sell for a buyout of 2 gold per stack and there is not much supply for sale out there. Last night there was one auction with a buyout of 1 gold 75 silver, 4 auctions with a buy out of 2 gold and 1 auction with a buyout of 7 gold (what WAS he thinking lol). Thus, there were only 6 auctions for Iron Bars. Given that I had 8 stacks of 20 iron bars that I had accumulated, I could have made a killing. But I only sold one at 1 gold 75 silver (just for kicks) and it sold very quickly. Therefore, if you are interested in easy money, just mine iron, smelt the bars and sell them at auction. No cost to you at all, other than time!

If you were to just find iron veins and throw away everything but the ore (bad idea because other things are very valuable also), you could fill up each slot in your inventory with 20 ore/bars. Assuming you spent enough time to fill up 40 slots in inventory, at 2 gold per stack this could theoretically net you 80 gold. That’s a lot of mining, but it’s easy money if you can put up with the grind.

Coarse grinding stones can also be sold for a good profit. While I haven’t sold any yet, there are NONE at the auction house right now and I hear people in ironforge frequently requesting them. I have asked myself, just see what the response will be, but no one ever had any for sale. Therefore, this is an untapped market. I will put up an auction tonight for coarse grinding stones and let you know how it goes.

The same strategy above can be extrapolated to heavy stone, mithril (which sells for 5 gold a stack) and other materials. But I have found that iron (iron ore) and tin (coarse stones) are the most plentiful veins in the game after copper. Therefore, I think this is sweet spot for money making.
